 Young at Heart - Christmas in August
 Tuesday, August 11th, 11:30 a.m.
Meet in the Fellowship Building for a good time of food, fellowship and (inactive) games. As our Christmas emphasis, we'll be collecting (new) toys to store for Breakfast with Santa in December. Feel free to send in a toy if you can't attend. Also bring a salad to share for lunch. (Salad ideas available if needed.) See you there!

We will be partnering with Central Bearden Students for a trip to Soaky Mountain Water Park. Students need to purchase their ticket online at:

We're also excited to launch Anchored, our new monthly student ministry service, beginning Sunday, August 23, at 6:00pm!
Middle and high school students are invited for a night of worship, biblical teaching, and community as we grow deeper in our faith together. Invite a friend and join us—we can't wait to see you there!

 Burundi  - Tsedakah School Supplies Campaign
 June 21st - August 16th
Last year we, as a church, donated to the Tsedakah (say-dah-kaa) School Supplies Campaign in Burundi Africa. On September 6th, they distributed school supplies to more than 50 students. Because of your generosity, these children received the tools they need to learn, grow, and begin the school year with hope and confidence.

Your support for vulnerable children in that community is not only inspiring but reminds us that together we can make a lasting difference.

We would like to continue supporting this effort, donations will be accepted through August 16th. Information on how to give is available on the screen and in the bulletin. You may also donate through the church, and we will forward your contribution. Thank you again for your kindness and support.

Mercy Ministry Offering 
July-September Focus:  The Knoxville Dream Center
Please consider giving to this month's Mercy Ministry, The Knoxville Dream Center. The mission of Knoxville Dream Center is to provide good food (Food Truck), authentic faith, and
opportunities for a brighter future for those who need it most.

Mercy Ministry Offering is a new giving opportunity to assist and aid mercy ministries currently active here in Knoxville. By doing this we increase both our reach into the city and help those who are doing great works in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. We will take up our Mercy Ministry Offerings each time there is a 5th Sunday (once per quarter). We will also provide information about and ways that you can help those ministries during that quarter.

 Young at Heart - TN Theater Trip
 Monday, July 6th - 11:00am

On Monday, July 6th, at 11:00am, Young at Heart will leave the church for the Tennessee Theater for the "First Monday" free music program. July's program has a patriot theme featuring Freddie Brabson on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and joined by Tipton Station, a bluegrass band. After the program we will go to Pizza Inn for lunch. Please sign up in the breezeway.

  Men’s Ministry Monday
  Monday, July 6th - 6:00pm
Our next Men’s Ministry Monday will be on Monday, July 6. We will be meeting at MooYah Burgers on Kingston Pike at 6:00 for food, fellowship and scripture. All men of all ages are invited.

 Student Ministry - Worship Night at CBB
 Wednesday, July 8th - 6:00-8:30pm

We will be attending worship night at Central Baptist Bearden on Wednesday, July 8th. It will be 6:00-8:30 and includes dinner and worship.

 Women’s Bible Study
 Wednesday, July 8th - 6:00-7:30pm
Women’s Bible Study returns on July 8th as we walk through “Beyond the Shadow of a Doubt: Finding Security and Certainty in Christ”. Childcare provided or babies are welcome to stay with mom! Our first session will meet at Betty Carver’s house. The meeting time will be 6:00-7:30pm.

  Mercy Ministry Offering Focus: Hunter Connell
  April-June
Please consider giving to this quarter’s Mercy Ministry, Hunter Connell. Hunter serves Loudon and Monroe Counties through FCA, equipping and encouraging coaches, athletes, and students in their faith. He leads campus huddles, team gatherings, and events like Fields of Faith to help students grow on and off the field. Hunter is helping to build the next generation in Christ.
